Plug-N-Run G2 NomadFire Carrier Board

PFU Systems' NomadFIRE is a carrier board reference design for embedded vision systems. It uses the company's Plug-N-Run and Plug-N-Run Server Edition System-On-Modules for embedded x86 host functionality. The combination of a Plug-N-Run module and a NomadFIRE carrier board yields an ultra-compact, portable, powerful, embedded image
processing system, capable of capturing and manipulating high-resolution images.
The NomadFIRE carrier board is a complete system board with video capture capabilities. This makes it an excellent rapid prototyping platform for embedded
imaging applications such as, medical imaging, industrial imaging, public security, robotics, news gathering, law enforcement, and other vision systems. Features included are three IEEE 1394a video ports for high-speed video data transmission up to 400Mbps.
