Promentum® AMC-7201/2

The AMC-7201 and AMC-7202 are Single Mid-Size AMC.0 (ECN002 pending) cards. The hardware design consists of a Quad OC-3/STM-1 framer that can support one OC12/STM-4, a Network Processor, memory, four (4) SFPs and an IPMI MMC. The AMC-7201 is a capable of supporting four OC-3/STM-1 un-channelized of AAL5, AAL2,or PPP data to IP. The AMC-7202, extends the functionality of the AMC-7201 with the support of channelized AAL5 & AAL2, IMA, PPP, MLPPP, HLDC and TDM including DS0 grooming. The fabric interface is capable of supporting UDP, TCP-IP, RTP and ITDM depending on the nature of the line data and the application.
